The Long Island Divers Association would like to report that our annual Film Festival was held on Saturday February 5, 2022 and was a great success.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 this year’s event was once again virtual on Zoom, and will not seek sponsorship and will not have raffle prizes and a door prize drawing. LIDA would like to thank all the sponsors who have made the LIDA Film Festival possible in the past through their gracious support and generous donations of giveaways.

Please consider supporting them this year through your purchases of dive equipment, training and education or travel arrangements during this time of economic stress. A healthy and vibrant dive industry is necessary for all us us to enjoy the sport we love. We all need dive equipment manufacturers, local dive shops and travel and tour operators.
